with tiger woods out for the year it opens the door for everyone else to have a shot at winning some big money.this is the first time that tiger has been out for a long period of time and the problem he has isnt a small one. its had to do with his knees and i mean that has to do with every in golf u cant swing if u have one bad knee. so he had to take the time off to get better and makiing a push to becoming the best to ever swing a golf club. i have played golf since i was about 9 and i have to say i give alot of credit to all the pros that play golf because it not something that you can pick up for a day or two and be great at it. it takes time to become one of the best and to be able to play on the pga tour. seeing tiger going out there and swinging like no other person can it blows me away how one person can hit the ball as far as he could. i mean he goes out and wins match after match. i havent seen any one or heard of anyone that has put up number like he has. he the man that everyone trys to beat but it looks like no one can give him a run for his money. there are so many big companys that have made him thier spokeman and give him so much money because he is in the spot light every day and everyone would want to be like him and it amaxing how much one person could do without having anyone even being close ot him in talent. i give him alot for all he has done and there no one like tiger.

week 17

cleveland browns vs pittsburgh steelers
this game doesnt have much to do with anything because the browns are out of the playoff run and the steelers will most likely bench their starters.
titans vs colts
this could be a big game bc the titans can be playing for home feild and the colt could be playing for a playoff spot.
patriots vs bills
this is another game to watch out for because they both will be fight for a playoff stop becuase they are in the same divison together and if the jets and them to are tierd it well be a get end to the season.
dolphins vs jets
this could be the jets game to lock up a playoff spot if they are able to hold a lead until that week and if they can this we be a very big week for them and this could be what all jets fans been waiting for.
cowboys vs eagles
the biggest game i think of that week because they both are two big power house and with the last few games left this could mean both or one or either of them with make the playoffs so u bet they both will be playing a great game that week.

raiders

al davis is a man that sure konws how to go big or go home.davis shelled out close to a quarter billion dollars in the offseason to upgrade is raiders who were a dimal 4-12. the new players are intended to supplement quarterback russell and a greatd RB who give the black and sliver two great players to build around in their future. even if sccess remains down the road the dynamic duo should lead oakland to a better record both staight up and against the number right away. russell is extremely talented and is surprisingly moblie at the hieght and weight . with them to in the back feild and them being about to put some key player around them this team will be a team that can make a big turn around with the blink of the eye. it mite take a little bit but the team is putting the piece where they got to be to be about to make a change that they need. witht he young player being better and better there nothing wrong with having the youngest team in the league. i would have to say with all the bad seasons that they have had they diffenertly made the best moves to put this team where it has to be. i see that they will be making a run for the playoff real soon and that they will be one of the best teams in the league for years to come. just let the young players get some games under their belts and they will become one as a team.

the new york jets went 10-6 in the coaches first season with the jets.realityset in last season as the jets went 4-12 they here ranked in the last couple of spots in offense whuch means your team is pretty bad. over the seasons the jets have added alot of key players and to make a move in trying to win a championship. they really improved on both sides of the ball witht the players that they have picked up thoug out the years.they really looked like i different team this year and really wanted to make a move to becoming the best in the league with that type of movement they want. i dont think there anyone in the league that could stop them if they put teverything they got into the games when they are playing. during this year they have made some games close then they should have been blow outs. they have to play calm and cool and not get into a rush match with running up and down the field they need to play at their game and no one else. they really need to pull it together for the next couple of weeks so that they can make the playoff they are in the lead now and its no looking back for them they are near they playoff soon if they can hold it togehter they really could make a differnce in the plays with the leadership and the way the team plays togehter.

As much as ny is about how much eli can handle pressure ny success depends upon factors beyond elis control. Strahan retirement will have a huge part on the way the defense that was rinked in the top 10 in the league last season. Strahan was the leader on and off the field. In his absence the opponents will be able to shift there focus on their other two big hitters. Having a problem with the WR could mean big problems having the top Wr hold out for the start and not having him playing with the team is hurting them more and more each time they step on the field. But to them its fine because they don’t need the big play maker because everyone that was behind them was picking up and taking their game to the next level. They were just waiting for him to show up and tell him he is ready to play. which happen when they both came to a agreement on his contract. They best move they made was getting a trade for their TE which made the lockerroom calm which they needed. Is this the season they repeat we will see.they have eveything they need to make it back they just need the team to play ass one and they will be right back to where they were last season and pulling another ring on there finger this year.

in the years of 04-05, the NBA a long we a group agreed to a new rule In the nba which infact wont be good for them at all or the fan base. While most of what was laid out in the agreement was about the age oof what the players could come in to the nba draft which in fact they really should have put the player that really wanted to come in to the nba hold on longer than they really need to.The NBA and NBPA agreed to enforce a rule that wouldn't allow players to enter the draft until they turn 19 years old. See this many players were mad at what has happen and players that were getting ready for the draft were now getting ready to go play college ball. But what does one year make. Yea your right it does seem good to go to school and get a dergree and have something to fall back on but come on these kids are born to play. for the most part I think it was put in as a rule so incase anything happen coming out of high school the teams wouldn’t lose millions on a young player but that doesn’t matter because the same thing could happen coming out of college I think the rule should be changed back.

it has to be said see him play is a gift to everyone.he has to be the best player to ever control the ball on the court. he wasnt just a passer he could also score. he did it all but he did the best was he made everyone round him even better which made him a even better player.
2. Jason Kidd
Nobody has more seasons where they were in the top five in dashing the ball then does Jason Kidd. Never the number one scorer on a team, but probably the most important player on every team he has ever played on. Now third all-time on the triple-doubles list with 99, he is not so quietly finishing up his hall of frame career, the only thing left is the ship
3. Mark Jackson
Tis behind the top 2 in top ten assists . His career high in scoring was round 14, but he was one of the best at his postion, he was the one that made people score around him and he made it happen for them.I think there’s a pattern here.
4. Steve Nash
The two time MVP is going to be the best point gaurd there is but he is to young now to be called number on He’s probably on everyone list bc he has done so much in the years he been in the leauge and there no one to match him. He has shown himself to be the greatest passer and playmaker over the last 5 years.
5. Gary Payton
he got what he always wanted the ship it took him long even and 4 teams later, they have gaven him the name of the the glove" has proven over the season that he was all u could ask for a all around player and the leader u needed on the court and off the court.

is it possible for the king to come to the big city? A lot of talk over the years was about the Nets moving from New Jersey to Brooklyn. The stadium over about starting and should be available to the team in 2 years time. The past few years, the Nets have been in re-building mode. They dumped Jason Kidd- the eye of the Nets and , they go and traded one of their best players Richard Jefferson who was drafted by the Nets, and a couple of years ago, the Nets traded Kenyon Martin who also was a young star and a big big which they need big time now. Now the Nets franchise might make another big move in year’s time. Their cap room has plenty of room now. That big move is LeBron James. I mean can you see the crowd that will draw to Atlantic Yards in Brooklyn with James at Forward. It is just unthinkable for all the Nets fans. The Nets Co-President Jay-Z is buds with LeBron James which can persuade him to find a home in Brooklyn NY. Also James is friends with Chris Bosh and Amare Stoudemire. Those two can also come to Brooklyn, if the Nets do make a move for LeBron. Richard Jefferson had a 45 million dollar contract. Now that he is gone, the Nets just have Vince Carter who has a 60.1 million contract. His contract expires in a couple of years which can mean that the Nets could make room to get LeBron James, Amare Stoudemire, and Chris Bosh. In December 2006, the plan was approved to build a stadium/arena in Prospect Heights Brooklyn. The Nets contract in the Meadowlands expires in 2013. high school bball

being about to play high school basketball was amazing. it had to be some of the best times i have ever had. it was also some of the worst times i ever had. i was coming out of 8th grade and i was short but when i came in during the summer and worked out i seen i was ready for highschool bball. i was so scared to go play. i didnt know what was going to happen and i didnt want to fail. so i was getting already for the tam and going to all the work outs before the tryouts and i hit a wall i was so scard i didnt want to play any more. i want to give up and not step a foot on the court i was done. but the coach came and got me and talked about how i should play and how i had alot of skill to play and he really wanted me on the team. so i went out and i played not knowing that this season would be the best basketball i would ever play in my life. nothing could go wrong i was doing everything right i rarely had a bad game i was scoring like crazy and i was unstoppable in my own eyes. i was playing like there was no tomo. i was doing everything in my power every game and i wasnt letting anyone stop me. i was told that i was never going to be a starter i was told i wasnt going to play highschool ball i was told i wouldnt score or see any playing time.but i took that and pushed my way to the top i was showing that i could do it and that i was able to do it every well. i was able to do what no one thought i could do and damm did i prove them wrong. well the season was endding and i didnt want it to end ad i was doing everything i could to take it to the next level. i was out at my aunts house and i got a call from the jv coach freashman year and said you got moved up i was shock me moved up i was shaking thats how excited i was. i showed up the next day for the game and on the bus ride up i had to learn the whole play book damm that was so hard and i couldnt believe i got it down. well i was only thinking i was coming off the bench and helping them out not knowing i was starting riht off the bat. i was excited i was doing so much my first year. i was a little scared though which played a factor in the game in the first half but second half was all mine i went off i could miss i was scoring from every where you could think of. i score 20 in the second half i felt great i wish i could do it all over again because i had the time of my life.

Being in Philly for a Flyers / Rangers

This past Saturday I to Philly to see the Rangers/Flyers game. It had to be the best hockey game i have ever gone to. It was wierd going to Philly to watch a Rangers game. It was nothing like being at the Graden. he are the only people there that are wearing Rangers jerseys and everyone looks at you and hates you for wearing it. I went down to the glass before the game started and was watchin the Rangers warm up and I was able to get two pucks from the ice. I was pretty amazed that I i was able to get it. I have never got a puck off the ice. So when I went back to my seat i seen that i had no ranger fans around me and i thought i was going to be in trouble. But goood thing the ranger got out to the early lead so i didnt have to hear all the fans around me tell me how bad my team was. The game was going nice until the flyers started to come back. I was not liking that at all. The fans were going all crazy around me and started to say thing to me. i was seating back and waiting to see what was going to happen. I was getting nerves the game was getting way to close for me and i didn tlike that and i was seating on the edge of my seat for the whole last period. The game was 4-3 with the rangers winning and it felt like the time was going by so slow and i couldn't take it i felt like the game was never going to end. The game was getting closer and closer to the end and it was killing me that it wasnt over yet bc that meant that they couls score a tieing goal.It was the fianl min. and the game was almost over and i could believe that they put it out. I was so excited that they won. That was the best trip i have ever taken and i can't wait to go to another one like that.

Being in Philly for a Flyers

Romo Down in Big D!

Romo get hurt in the final plays of the game in sundays lost to Cardnals. Romo is the biggest key to the power house cowboys. He is the leader on the field and off. Well now he is only the leader off the field for 4-6 weeks with a broken pinky finger. If it had been any other finger he could must likely play though it but the pinky has a big play in how he throws the ball. He will be missed big time and this is not the time for him to be going down. Cowboys have been up and down all season and playing in the toughest divison loseing Romo really doesn't help them trying to get to the top. They can easily lose alot of ground with they win under the backup. Thier D has to pick up big time for them to even keep them in the game if they are trying to win. This could easily be the end to the season and it just all going down hill form here. Romo has to be the biggest player that the Cowboys have on the field. Yea they have Witten, T.O. and a couple of other players but they have no one to get them the ball. I could be wrong the backup for Romo isn't that bad. He has a winning record as a starter. He has also won a superbowl. So maybe their season really isn't going down hill with the lost of Romo. This also could be a sign and the backup could get them on the winning road and turn this season around for them. If he can't do that and give Romo the time he needs and they win. Than it will make Romo want to come back and be able to win and take his team to the next level and also try to win the superbowl. If they cant win the the backup their season is going to be done quick with the power in their divison. This really could be the biggest hit that they face. even though the problem they had with some players on and off the field this defferently beats out everything else with the down fall of Romo.

T.O. and the Cowboys

I can't believe that T.O goesd off and says he doesnt get the ball enough. He is not the number one man that Romo is looking for. He got to look at the bigger picture he got to understand he has to play and do what he does best. he shouldn't complain or make a big seen because he not getting the ball. If the team is doing well and is winning he shouldn't complain about not getting the ball because the team is winning. that should be the first thing on his mind is his team. Not weather or not he going to get the ball enough. Everyone knows he can play. everyone knows he can make the plays when the ball is throwen his way. He just got to let the game come to him. He got to put everything behind him and just play football. This has already got him in trouble twice when he talks out like this. This got him traded from two very good teams that had alot of chance to win it big time but T.O has to go off and not play his game.When T.O is on top of his game there is not one person that can stop him in this league. When he has his head clear and just worrying about playing football that is when he helps out his team the most. He could put up amazing numbers and no one could stop him. He just had to stop playing mind games with himself and his team. If he does that everyone would be on the right page and they could play better as a team.

NYR

The New York Rangers have looked very good so fat this year. even tho they haven't signed back there to best players they are very young and looks like they have alot going for them. the young team is very good and they all play very well together. they have some older players which gives them the leadership they need on and off the ice. they have started their preseason overseas where they played three games. Two of the three games where very close and they most likely got lucky here and there. They look like they really haven't lost much with losing there best scorer and thier best defender. Other players have step up into there rolls and they are not playing a one man show they are playing as a team. playinh as a team will get you going to biggger and better places. The Rangers also look like they can go deeper into the playoffs than they did last year. The only thing that could stop them could be the fact that they are so young and not many of them had been in the playoffs before. They have started the season 2-0 and they looked really good. their lines are soild and they team plays as one. As a coach how much more can you ask for. They all good out and play hard and not one person would be selfish. I really think they look alot better than they did last season and looks like we are in for a very fun season with them. They have all the weapons to get to the top but they all have to play as one and help each other out or they are not going to make it.

Saying good bye to Shea

It was unbelieveable that shea was going to be knocked down. it felt like yesterday when i went to my first game there i was sitting on the firld three rows up and i seen how big these players were and it just blew me away. I was amazed about how big that shea was and how many people had come to watch a baseball game. I was only seven than and i loved baseball. Now as the years have gone by I been getting to go to shea more and more. i have had season tickets and been to shea alot. i loved going there and there are words that can't explain how amazing it is to be able to go there. Coming into Sheas last season i knew that i had to come as much as i can in there being of the season it was real hard to come but when it came to the end I was there once a week. I was pretty upset that they were knocking it down and that all the good times that have happen there would be washed away. They last day at Shea could have been better if they have won but there is nothing we can do about that. At the end of the game watching them bring out all the players that have had an impact on shea was great. I couldn't believe all the great players that had put on a mets uniform. Watching the last pitch that was throwen at shea was hard. It hit be that it was going to be gone forever. The way that they close shea down for good. i will never forget that. Watching Tom Sevaer and Mike Piazza walk the field all the way to the back of the outfield wall and turn and wave. than watching them open up the doors and closing them behind them. That was the perfect way to close the books on Shea.

METS METS METS!!!!

Watching the met game on sunday you couldn't believe that they could fall in the last game two years in a row. They showed that they didnt want to win. If you are trying to make it into the playoffs you got to play good at the end of the year. Some of the moves that was made on sunday were not the right ones. The bullpen the whole year really blew it for them. They couldn't get the big out when they needed it. The mets bullpen had blowen more saves than anyone else in the league. If they didnt blow half those saves they would still be playing. Also is the big players that they had got those big hits in thoes big spots they would have won more games. They have to make a lot of moves in the off season to really make this team better. They need to pick up a closer and also some key players that can make plays when they need it. They need to make some coaching changes to. they need to shake it all up. they have the players. they just have the manger that could make the right moves when they need it. have the right players and pitchers in the right spots.They have a good team now but they are missing that one piece that could put them over the top. Thats all they need to make it into the playoffs. The young plays they had in the outfield really shouldn't have been playing. The had some older players that had been in these spots that could have played better and had made more plays. Even though they played well they haven't made the right moves when they should have. For next season in a new place where they will be playing i think they will have alot better season than they had this year. Its a new place with a new begin to start off on the right foot. So I think there is big things that are going to make the new place alot better than the old one.

College Sports Better Than Pro Sports

If you sit down and watch a pro game compare to a college game. You will see why a college game is better. The college player has more to play for then the pro player. The pro player doesn't have to go out every night and put his best into it. The college player has to put everything on the line when he or she is out there playing. They have their schooling on the most of them and even some of them this is their way out of trouble. I think that you watch a better game when you watch college sports. They really do put on a better show than the pros. They do that so the pro scouts. They work hard to try to make it to the big time. So that is why you are better off watching say a college basketball game than a NBA game. These kids put more on the line each and every night to show that they can do. They just don't do in on the playing field they also do it in the classroom. They have to show that they are able to do both or they are not able to play anymore. So these college athletes have to show that they are able to balance things on and off the field. Watching a pro game the player could have a bad night but that player still gets paid. When a college player has a bad night it could cost him his spot on the team. In pro sports it's very rare to find someone that is not playing for the money and just playing hard every night in the pro leagues. You have kids that are trying their best to get where the pros's are but the pros's don't even care how good they played they just care if they are getting paid at the end of the night. Even when watching a college game most of them are very exciting because all the teams are pretty well matched up. So they will always show them playing hard all the way to the last minute of the game. Where a pro game is not as good to watch because you have teams that have so much money that they buy all the best players. Where you end up with a couple of power house and the rest are just okay teams. These is why you get a better game watching college players play.
